In accordance with ORC§317.32, beginning January 2026 there will be a $2.00 per page charge to receive a copy of your request either via email or US Postal Service. For a non-watermarked copy of your document, please email the Recorder's office or call (937) 440-6040.
Prepayment is required and may be completed in person or by calling the Recorder’s Office at (937) 440-6040.
How To Access Our Records – Free Of Charge
If you are looking for a copy of your deed, mortgage or other encumbrances on your property, you may search our database, free of charge, by clicking the Basic Records Search button below.
- Enter the Last Name and First Name
- Click the Search button
- Click the NAME of the document under Document No.
- Click the page icon to view and print your document.
For any records prior to 1980, please contact the Recorder’s Office for assistance.

For more advanced searches of our records (i.e. Abstractors, Title Searchers, Genealogists, etc.) you will need access to Laredo Anywhere. Please click the Advanced Records Search button below and you will be re-directed to Fidlar Technology to set up your online account. On Fidlar’s website, there are Tip Sheets available to guide you in setting up your account and beginning your search.
Our deeds are on record back to 1807. If you are looking for a deed prior to 1980, please contact the Recorder’s office for assistance.

Searching Miami County Indexes
When searching for documents recorded prior to 1998, you must use the Geographical Indexes to verify and obtain Book/Page information, DO NOT rely on searching by name or legal description as not all have been audited. Party name and legal description information will be entered into the searchable index and audited on an ongoing basis.
Geographical Index Books are digitized and available for searching through Laredo Connect in the “search group” tab and Laredo Anywhere in “Doc type” tab.
Name Index Books - Deed Name indexes are digitized and available for searching through Laredo Connect in the “search group” tab and Laredo Anywhere in “Doc type” tab. Mortgage Name indexes are in the process of being scanned and will be available at a later date.
Miscellaneous Index Books are digitized and available for searching through Laredo Connect in the “search group” tab and Laredo Anywhere in “Doc type” tab
Greens Abstract Index Books are digitized and available for searching through Laredo Connect in the “search group” tab and Laredo Anywhere in “Doc type” tab.
