About Ted Mercer

Commissioner Ted S. Mercer is a lifelong resident of Miami County. Mr. Mercer is the Owner/President of Mercer Group, Inc. a regional athletic field contracting company based in Troy, OH. Mr. Mercer has over 45 years of business experience. He currently services as Director of the Robinson Community Fund. Mr. Mercer is the recipient of the 1995 Troy Distinguished Young Man of the Year and the recipient of the 2015 Troy Chamber of Commerce Community Service Award. Ted is married to his wife, Carla and has two adult children and five grandchildren. Mr. Mercer says serving the people of Miami County is not a career, it is a public service.

Special Meetings
Special meetings are held at the discretion of the Board. These sessions are held only as necessary and are announced at least 24 hours in advance per the Ohio Revised Code.
