Core Responsibilities & Duties

The Miami County Clerk of Courts is one of eight counties which the clerk maintains all official records of the Common Pleas Court, Municipal Court, and Auto Title. Duties include filing, docketing, indexing, and preserving all court pleadings, and collection of all revenue related to court costs, bonds, fines, and forfeitures.

The clerk of courts has the authority to issue writs to carry out court orders including summons, subpoenas, and warrants to arrest.

Auto Title

  • Auto Title Division is responsible for issuing certificates of title to the residents of Ohio for their purchases of automobiles, motorcycles, off-road vehicles, motor / mobile homes, and watercraft.
