Make a Payment

You are able to pay Probation, Restitution, SCRAM and GPS fees by Credit/Debit card. Do NOT attempt to pay a Fine, Court Costs or Civil claims by this method.

In order to pay Probation, Restitution, SCRAM and GPS fees by Credit/Debit card, please follow these instructions;

  1. You must first contact the Miami County Municipal Court Services Department to verify the amount due. The Court will NOT process your payment if the amount paid exceeds your amount due. The Court Services department phone number is (937) 440-3930.
  2. Print the Credit Card Authorization Form and NEATLY print all required information. You MUST provide an e-mail address in order to receive a receipt. Otherwise, you will need to request one in person at the Court Services Office of the Miami County Municipal Court.
  3. Fax the Credit Card Authorization Form to the Court Services Office at (937) 440-3941. If you have any questions, please call (937) 440-3930.

FAQs
How can I pay for a traffic citation?
All Traffic citations are paid, in advance of your scheduled Court date on the ticket, and to the Miami County Clerk of Courts. You can post the bond amount.
  • Directly to the Clerk's Office on the third floor of the Courthouse
  • Mail your payment to the Miami County Clerk of Courts, 215 W. Main Street, Troy, Ohio 45373
  • Call the Clerk's Office for questions about the amount due, and for other forms of payment at (937) 440-3910
Q: How do I find out when my Court date is?
You should have received a Court notice, however, select the "Courtview" Public Access icon on the Court's website that will allow you to search your case for specific information.
Q: Where do I go for a Marriage License?
The Miami County Probate Court, located in the Miami County Safety building (second floor), is where you will apply and receive a license. The Miami County Municipal Court Judges provide for the actual marriage ceremony. Please contact Tawnya Emrick at 937-440-3937 to schedule an appointment or for any further questions.
